We reserve the right to edit or remove content, refuse access to this website or cancel an order at our discretion. If we cancel an order, we will notify you immediately and you will not incur any costs.

Pricing And Availability

The total price of your goods will be stipulated at the time you place your order or when your order has been confirmed at the final part of the order process. All prices are in pounds sterling including the relevant taxes for the UK where applicable. We have the right to make alterations to the prices in the following circumstances:

On extremely rare occasions, the cost of the product may have increased but not updated on the website, taxes may have not been included in the price, or they may have changed. We will inform you immediately and before dispatch if this is the case to ensure you still wish to purchase, but at the revised cost.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order for goods if it has been listed at the incorrect price due to a typographical error, or the price from our suppliers, tax or duty office was incorrect when our price was published. If you have already been charged we will immediately refund you the total amount you have paid (including any delivery charges).

All products and services offered for sale on this website are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If goods cannot be supplied for any reason we will contact you and you will not be charged for the items ordered. If payment has already been taken, you will be refunded for the cost (and any postage charges if applicable) immediately.

We cannot be held responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.

Payment

Payment is taken through a secure third party WorldPay. Please see the terms and conditions stipulated on the WorldPaywebsite before making a payment. Through this WorldPaysystem we take secure credit card payments. We don’t store card details on our website, just a record that a transaction did or didn’t take place.

Card Security

Your card details are entered directly onto WorldPay’s secure server, Your card details are never held in clear text on any website and are only decrypted on the WorldPay secure server for the purpose of making the payment.

We are not responsible for the content or reliability of linked websites. Listings should not be taken as an endorsement of any kind. We cannot guarantee that these links will work all the time, and we have no control over their availability. These are the sole responsibility of the third party company.

Delivery

Free within the UK mainland (excludes off shore islands & NI) – 48 hr courier ( 2-3) working days, (does not include weekends or bank holidays) .

We will usually ship the day after approval and payment before 1pm previous day (1-2 working days, does not include weekends or bank holidays)

We cannot guarantee delivery within the set time scales but we use a reliable courier that enjoys 98% success rate. If you require same day or 24hr courier, please contact us.

Returns

Please contact us within 2 days of receipt of delivery if you would like to return your purchase for a no quibble refund, returns will be fully refunded minus the restocking fee of 15% and customer return postage cost if applicable with condition all books returned in the condition they were sent. Damage will be deducted. Refunds are issued within 5 working days of receipt of return. bespoke, made to order or Aged leather are non refundable.

Exchanges are at Created Books discretion, replacement postage will be covered by the buyer, including any restocking fee.

(Please note, no quibble refunds only apply to orders under 5 metres and private not business, please ensure you are satisfied with Curated Books advice, information and images sent before despatch) email approval response must be within 12 hours of order or books may be sent without approval.

Up to 10% – 30% charge may apply for genre, height or limited colour specific books and agreed prior to order

Curated Books cannot be held liable for customer treatment of the books after sale, if the condition degrades after sale we will not replace books, books are purchased in good condition and will be the new owners responsibility to look after their purchase.

Goods Damaged In Transit

When you sign for your delivery from the carrier, you must check you are receiving the correct number of parcels you are signing for, and ensure that you make a note if there appears to be any damage to any of the parcels. Please make sure you open your parcel immediately and carefully check the contents, as you must inform us within 2 working days of delivery of any damaged or incorrectly sent goods, (Please quote your order number in all correspondence).

Goods Lost In Transit

You will receive a notification from our carrier that your goods have been despatched, or a date agreed. You must notify us within 7 days of despatch of your order if you have not received your goods, we cannot claim losses and provide replacements after this time has lapsed. Please note requests to your courier to leave parcel with a neighbour or safe place is against our policy and you will do so at your own risk. Curated Books will not be held liable for losses or damage.
